Dr. Sandeep Kodityal is known to his patients as ‘Dr. Kodi’. He is a native of San Antonio and attended Duke University, where he graduated on the Dean’s List with Distinction and garnered a Howard Hughes Fellowship in Biochemistry. He graduated from the Texas Tech School of Medicine in the top quartile of his class and received the Osler Award, given to the exemplary senior medical student in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kodi completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology-Oncology Fellowships at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. His Oncology training included 10 months of clinical duty with an intense focus on lung cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer and sarcoma during one year of Oncology Fellowship rotations at The MD Anderson Cancer Center. During his training, Dr. Kodi lectured frequently at the Houston Hematology Citywide Conference and published articles in prominent journals such as Blood, Journal of Intensive Care Medicine, Grand Rounds and European Journal of Hematology. He has spoken for such companies as Sanofi-Aventis, Eli Lilly, Foundation One, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Takeda and Astra Zeneca as an expert in his field.
