Dr. Jambhekar attended Tulane University where she triple majored in English, Biology, and Psychology and earned a BA and BS. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio followed by general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Jambhekar is board certified in General Surgery and completed her fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. She completed her MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and recently received recognition as one of the top MBA graduates in the country. She aims to understand the financial impact of specialty care to ultimately deliver better, more cost effective care. She is also building patient-centered multidisciplinary care models to streamline the journey for her patients.
Dr. Jambhekar is focused on making her practice a place which empowers women.
