Anirudha Dasgupta, MD was born in India and speaks Hindi, Bengali and Urdu. He earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi’s Maulana Azad Medical College in India. He went on to complete residencies at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, and at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, where he served as chief resident in internal medicine. The hospital is now named NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and is located in The Bronx in New York City. Dr. Dasgupta then completed a fellowship with Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Dasgupta is board certified in Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Medical Oncology and Hematology. He joined Millennium Physicians in 2010, treating patients with all types of cancer and blood disorders.
Throughout his education and career, Dr. Dasgupta has been honored with numerous recognitions. The Government of India’s National Council of Educational Research & Training awarded him the National Science Talent Search Scholarship for 13 consecutive years. At the University of Delhi, he was honored the Gold Medal in Anatomy, the Gold Medal in Surgery and the Prize for Preventive and Social Medicine. The American Association of Cancer Research awarded Dr. Dasgupta with a scholarship, which allowed him to attend a Molecular Biology Workshop.
