Charles L. Yen, MD Medical Oncology & Hematology, Internal Medicine

Dr. Yen has been with Millennium Physicians since 2001. He is certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. Before entering medical school, Dr. Yen earned a B.S. with honors in Electrical Engineering from UT and worked at Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopedics writing software programs. Dr. Yen earned his medical degree from UTMB at Galveston. He pursued his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

He is an expert in myelodysplastic syndrome. Other major interests are the treatment of hereditary coagulopathy, non-malignant blood disorders, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, gastro-intestinal and lung cancer.

Dr. Yen is known for always “being there” for his patients and their families. He and his wife, Maureen, have three children, and his family is the center of his universe.
