Dr. Jeong served his residency in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY and received fellowships in Hematology & Oncology. He received his advanced fellowship at National Cancer Institute and served as an assistant professor at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Jeong joined Millennium Physicians in 2016.
His name Woondong stands for exercise, sport, movement or campaign which also represents Dr. Jeong's perception of living a healthy lifestyle. He stresses that exercise can help to fight cancer and is also important for your overall health and well-being. Dr. Jeong understands that sometimes it may be difficult to get yourself motivated and stay dedicated to daily exercise, but he informs his patients, “I am giving you an ‘exercise’ prescription, so just like how you take your medications every day, you should exercise every day”. He speaks both English and Korean.
Besides practicing medicine, Dr. Jeong enjoys being outside playing sports, especially soccer. He also loves hiking in the mountains.
