Dr. Gregory Seymour attended Miami University in Ohio, graduating with a BA in Physical Chemistry. He decided to pursue oncology after he experienced what the effects of cancer can do to a family and attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he served an additional year as a Chief Resident. Dr. Seymour pursued his fellowship training in Oncology and Hematology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. During his last year, he was the Chief of Moonlighting, running staffing and working in the emergency room, as well as the Medical Intensive Care Unit.

Following his fellowship, he began working at Millennium Physicians in 2003 as one of our Medical Oncologists, treating all types of oncology and hematology patients. Dr. Seymour creates specialized treatment plans for his patients based on their specific conditions and educates you throughout the process. His philosophy is that every cancer patient can be helped in some way, most can be cured, some cannot; however, the patient can be aided in their path through treatment, pain management, drug therapeutic options and further better understanding of their disease process. Dr. Seymour is also associated with Palliative Care and Pain Management and can offer both of these therapeutic options if needed to ensure patients experience the highest quality of life possible.
