Paulina Gutierrez was born in Mexico and moved to the US at the age of 12. She is proficient in English and Spanish. Paulina has a BS in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. Following her baccalaureate studies, she was a research assistant for the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine. After a few years in research she discovered her true passion was direct patient care and enrolled in nursing school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston graduating with honors in 2014. After several years at the bedside caring for neurology and neurosurgery patient Paulina took the next step in her career and again enrolled at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2019 she received her Master of Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner graduating Summa Cum Laude. Paulina enjoys treating a variety of conditions and establishing a trusting relationship with patients to help them reach their wellness goals.
When Paulina is not caring for patients, she enjoys family time, traveling abroad, photography, and playing with her dog.
